This year, I had the pleasure to participate in a Workshop on Street Photography organized by Frames Photography Circle. W. Scott Olsen and Tomasz Tzrebiatowski did a great job assembling around 20 photogrphers from around the world.
We had the pleasure to walk through Manhattan Streets and Central Park with reknown Leica Academy teacher Phil Penman and to meet amazing Barbara Mensch, who has been photographing downtown Manhattan for over 40 years. There is a great portrait of her (published by Craig Thompson) in youtube. Just recently, there is a new podcast with her in the Urbanaut Channel by Patrick Lee Hubbard and Steve Bisson.
In this collection, I publish some of the pictures I took during these rainy days down in Manhattan.
“Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, but about learning to dance in the rain.”
